Mill Village Memories
The Mill River Memories, this issues topic, were written by Donald V. Russell in his 86th year, recalling his life growing up in that community.
In addition to his recollections of personal activities, he describes the buildings and businesses of the time, most of them now lost to history. These are accompanied by a number of photographs, their eighteen locations itemized on a hand drawn map
They include the Blacksmith Shop, The Wagon Shop, the Village School and the Mill among others. Other favorite outdoor places such as the Bridge, trout holes and the Glen are also recalled in happy recollections of his youth.
A wonderful excursion into an earlier time and life.
